This past year we have come to the end of a journey with one of our clients.
Back in 2017, we were asked to design something a wee bit different from the rest for the client’s online high end design products.
We duly delivered on the brief and the site showcased furniture, paintings, soft furnishings and porcelain. It quickly developed a following in London – its main target market.

We pride ourselves on delivering first class customer service and will do our best to ensure that we enable clients to manage their sites with minimal difficulty. In this instance increasing demands from the client saw us being expected to respond to texts and emails at all times of the day including weekends and holidays. The tone of these emails and texts became increasingly unpleasant if we did not drop everything and work on their site. That was bad enough but as well as being very slow to pay invoices for work completed,  hosting invoices were not paid until extra work was carried out.

After a final piece of work, when they refused to pay for work done despite having done what was specifically requested, we decided that the time had come to sever our business relation.

I have never had to make such a decision before but 2020 was difficult enough without having to suffer abuse at the hand of an unreasonable individual. In a year when we were urged to be kind to one another, I have no regrets at the loss of this business and despite our differences, however, we wish them every success in 2021.

Fortunately, all of our remaining clients couldn’t be nicer to work with and, we look forward to working with them in 2021 and beyond.

In the meantime, thank you for your business and  we hope that in 2021 you stay safe, and keep positive.

Look after yourselves.
